Foothill Family collects and uses both personal and aggregate information, online and offline, for multiple purposes.
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or another direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g., to ship an order.

Personal Information: Any information or set of information that identifies or could be used by or on behalf of Foothill Family to identify a natural person. Personal Information does not include information that is encoded, aggregated, anonymized or publicly available information that has not been combined with non-public Personal Information. From Web Statistics: Foothill Family uses various site statistics software/services such as but not limited to AWStats, Webalizer, … a third-party web governance tool, to collect traffic data, location, IP address, communication data, operating system, and browser. Web Statistics software uses cookies to analyze this information and transmits it to the web server, where it is stored. Web Statistics software uses this information to evaluate visitors’ use of the website, providing reports on website activity. Foothill Family uses these reports and other information to enhance visitors’ experiences on the Foothill Family website. You can refuse to accept browser cookies.
From Tell-a-Friend: If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our Site, we ask them for a name and email address. Foothill Family will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the Site. Foothill Family stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email.
From You: Information that you voluntarily provide to us that may or may not identify you personally including but not limited to making a gift, registering for an event, inquiring. Examples, when you would provide personal information, include, but are not limited to making a gift, registering for an event, inquiring about a program or participating in peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns.
Security

C. How we protect the Information/Security
Foothill Family strives to protect the Personal Information and ‘Other Information’ transmitted through this website from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction through the use of firewalls and virus/intrusion detection software to protect our servers. We offer a secured website (“https:”) utilizing SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) security technology for establishing an encrypted link between our web server and your browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral.
All donations made through our website are processed using a standard SSL encrypted payment system that is Payment Card Industry compliant.
