Caring for our Community’s Emotional Recovery
Be part of our effort to uplife famiies after the devatating fires.
The recent fires have left widespread devastation, causing lasting emotional wounds for countless families and emotional scars which are especially deep for children. In addition to the immediate crisis, the need for mental health support will continue to grow as individuals process grief and trauma.
Foothill Family’s therapists and counselors are beginning the work to help families recover, offering trauma-informed care, grief counseling, and crisis intervention. But we can’t do it alone. Your support will help us reach more individuals and ensure no one faces this journey alone.
How We’re Responding:
- Crisis Counseling Support: Supporting families and individuals at local sites as
they navigate overwhelming grief and trauma. - Resources for Children and Teens: Providing tools to help youth process their emotions and find moments of calm.
- Resilience Workshops for Schools: Providing valuable resources and training to teachers, parents, and students to cope with stress and anxiety.
- Mental Health Services: Ensuring access to virtual or in-person therapy for displaced individuals.
