On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, Foothill Family held its inaugural Adventure Challenge, a corporate fundraising afternoon focused in sharing our mission with the local community, at Pasadena’s historic Rose Bowl Stadium.
Chief Executive Officer, Steve Allen, welcomed 100 guests on the steps of the Court of Champions and California State Senator Anthony Portantino started the race with energy! Twenty teams of four navigated challenges with exclusive access behind the Rose Bowl scenes. The competition was both friendly and fierce as the teams vied for glory in a variety of trivial, mental, and physical stops on the field, and in the UCLA Locker Room, the press box, and the 1922 Locker Room. The team-building culminated in a networking event in the West Rose Garden with food, drinks, great conversation, and fabulous live jazz music by The H.A.P. Trio. Congratulations to Team Legacy, who came in first place!
Financial dollars were raised and relationships built all to support Foothill’s mission of empowering children and families to achieve success in relationships, school, and work through community-based services that advance growth and development. Thank you to each team for their participation!, Click the button below if you would like to make a gift, pay your pledge, or complete your corporate sponsorship payment.
